I found Jenny to be an admirable leader who ensured that the group stayed together yet allowed time for exploration and discovery along the way. Meals were a collaborative effort, which built team spirit and there was generally tolerance and harmony within the group. |
Walking in nature has a profound positive effect on our health and well being. All adventures are designed to encourage self sufficiency and personal responsibility. They consist of small groups of women, fully self-supported where we take responsibility for our own training and preparation as an individual and as part of the group; carrying all of our own food and equipment; and having fun along the way.
Women with a range of experience from the absolute novice to the seasoned walker have successfully prepared for and completed these trips.

- Suggested individual training schedule
- Group training walks
- Group meal and equipment planning and training activities
- Trip itinerary from Newcastle - return
- 4 - 8 day self supported bush walk in wilderness areas of Australia or NZ
- Overall trip length up to 10 - 12 days depending on location and extra activities (tailored for the group)

This trip is NOT TO BE MISSED. 28 February - 11 March Itinerary: Day 1 – Flight to Queenstown/transfer to Te Anau Day 2/3/4/5 – Backpacking Kepler Track Day 6 – Day Trip Kayaking Milford Sound Day 7 – Free Day Day 8/9/10 – Backpacking Routeburn Track/transfer to Queenstown Day 11 – Free Day (so much adventure to be had in Queenstown OR just relax) Day 12 – Flight to Sydney (*itinerary is subject to change depending on availability at time of booking) LIMITED TO 8 ladies (including me), so don’t miss out. The biggest benefit of doing the walks is achieving goals that I had not thought to even put on my Bucket List; learning to prepare for them then move forward to the challenge and the adventure. Being in nature grounds me. Multi day walking reminds me that I can carry on my back all that I need for shelter, warmth and food and that everything else is extra, superfluous and an added bonus in life. |
